1.) Canthigaster papua
Canthigaster papua is a uniquely-patterned and colorful Pufferfish that inhabits the waters of Indo-Pacific region. It is remarkable for the beautiful spots all over its body. This pufferfish that can reach a length of 10 cm occasionally makes its way into the aquarium trade.
2.) Valentinni's Sharpnose Puffer (Canthigaster valentine)
This attractive pufferfish is photographed at the Suma Aqualife Park in Japan. Valentinni's Sharpnose Puffer can be found in reefs throughout the Indo-Pacific region and grow up to 11 cm in length. It is also commonly known as the Black saddled Toby for the 4 distinct black stripes (saddles) on its back. Consumption of this pretty-looking fish is highly discouraged because this fish is extremely poisonous.
3.) Saddle Butterfly (Chaetodon ephippium)
The brightly-colored and beautiful Saddle Butterflyfish can be found in the Indo-Pacific region from Sri Lanka to Australia. It can grow up to 30 cm in length and is one of the 2 largest butterflyfish in the world.
4.) Rectangular Triggerfish (Rhinecanthus rectngulus)
The intriguing and pretty Rectangular Triggerfish is native to the central and South Pacific Ocean. The Triggerfish's teeth are blue and is the state fish of Hawaii.
This fish is unique for its ability to blow jets of water from its mouth that helps the fish find benthic invertebrates that may be buried under the substrate. It also has the ability to rapidly alter its coloration. Other common names for this unique-looking fish are Reef Triggerfish and Wedge-Tail Triggerfish.
5.) Clown Toado (Canthigaster callisterna)
Another beautifully designed pufferfish is the Clown Toado. It lives in the southwest Pacific Ocean including Australia, new Caledonia and New Zealand. Like many other pufferfish, the Clown Toado which grows up to 20 cm is extremely poisonous.

The Lagoon Triggerfish is an attractive fish that inhabits the waters of Indo-Pacific Oceans. It grows up to 30 cm in length. Other common names attributed to this fish include Picassofish, Jamal Triggerfish and Blackbar Triggerfish.
7.) Long-nosed Hawkfish (Oxycirrhites typus)
The lovely-looking Long-nosed Hawkfish or Oxycirrhites typus is a checkered patterned fish that can be found in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. It is a colorful aquarium fish that can grow up to 13 cm long.
8.) Threadfin Butterflyfish (Chaetodon auriga)
The Threadfin Butterflyfish is a lovely-looking fish with unique patterns and markings that can be found in the Indo-Pacific region. It grows up to a length of 23 cm and has a neck patch of ascending and a belly patch of descending oblique dark lines.
9.) Plectranthias inermis
The last but certainly not the least on the list is the Plectranthias inermis. This wonderful fish with large mouth and eyes that are close together belongs to a genus of serranid fish.
10.) Yellow-edged Lyretail (Variola louti)
The brightly-colored Yellow-edged Lyretail with unique patterns of small white dots on its entire body, that can be found in the Indian and pacific Oceans. It is also commonly known as the Lyretail Grouper or the Coronation Cod. The Yellow-edged lyretail can grow up to 81 cm long and can weigh as much as 12 kg.
